Long story short

I am a divorced mother of two incredible children. I have always been an overly passionate person. Whether it is going from simply volunteering at a school festival then quickly becoming the PTO president in order to put on each event or learning how to crochet for the first time and immediately changing the world with it.

When I do something, I go big.

I have always had the desire to help. As a teenager I volunteered at a no-kill animal shelter. I also was very involved with the environmental group at my school. I have been aware of our planet and it’s need for us to respect it. After getting a job in a retail store while my kids were at school, I learned just how much plastic is THROWN AWAY before we even buy our items. That’s not even counting the amount of plastic packaging everything we buy is wrapped in. I was taught how to process this plastic into Plarn to make homeless mats. I started saving the plastic at the store I worked at. I told the women who taught me the very first time I sat at the table to learn that I was going to change the world and teach every person I can….and I have.
